Mystery Jade Plant

Mystery Jade Plant: This mystery plant will be from our Jade collection in the genus . Jade Plants tolerate low light and are some of the easiest succulents to grow indoors. If cared for properly, some Jade Plants can live for 100 years! Grown outdoors in frost-free weather, they can develop into dense shrubs, but they can also stay small indoors in a pot.

Soft succulents will not survive a hard frost, but if there is a risk of freezing temperatures they can be brought indoors to grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light. They need bright sunlight, great drainage, and infrequent water to prevent rot. Pick containers with drainage holes and use with 50% to 70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. Water deeply enough for water to run out the drainage hole, then wait for the soil to fully dry before watering again.

Jade Plants can show tiny white or black dots on their leaves. These are healthy, water-transferring pores called "" and not a sign of disease.
