Sedum adolphii - Golden Sedum

Sedum adolphii, also known as Golden Sedum, is a fast-growing trailing succulent with glossy, banana-shaped leaves that shift from lime green to golden yellow and orange in bright sun. This easy-care, drought-tolerant variety is perfect for succulent arrangements, hanging planters, and rock gardens, where its colorful stems can spill beautifully over the edges.

Soft Sedum need bright sunlight to maintain their colors and full leaf coverage. They will not survive a hard frost, but if there is a risk of freezing temperatures they can be brought indoors to grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light.

Like most succulents, soft Sedum need great drainage and deep, infrequent water to prevent rot. Pick containers with drainage holes and use with 50% to 70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. Water deeply enough for water to run out the drainage hole, then wait for the soil to fully dry before watering again.
