Sedum kamtschaticum f. variegatum: Lush groundcover of deep green leaves outlined with creamy white edges. It is native to rocky slopes from the Ural Mountains to Mongolia. It makes a beautiful, easy-to-grow ground cover, even in poor soil and full sun. Expect many small, yellow blooms in mid-summer and stems up to 6.0" tall.

PLEASE NOTE: Dormant in winter months. If you order November - March, plant will arrive dormant, but will typically re-sprout by mid-May in most climates.

Hardy Sedum are easy, frost-hardy plants that thrive outdoors with full sun and great drainage. Plant in raised beds or containers with drainage holes and mix 50% coarse sand, pumice, or perlite into the soil to prevent rot. Regular water will help young plants establish roots and spread quickly, but mature Sedum can tolerate several months of drought. If you choose to propagate by hand, cut off the top 2.0"+ of stem and transplant it to re-root.
